Boracay an Island I Call Paradise
“Splendid, wonderful, one of the finest beach in the Philippines and even in the whole world!” these are the words I have heard from friends and other people who had been to Boracay Island, a tourist spot by which our country is proud of. I already knew lots of wonderful comments about it until I had a chance to be there. Indeed all nice things I have heard are true. It is breath taking! Boracay Island is the most beautiful and finest beach I have been to.
Boracay is a tropical island in the province of Aklan, located in Panay, region VI Western Visayas. The island of Boracay is shaped like a dog bone. It is 4km long, powder white sand beach and crystal clear beach water. It has several remote beaches around the island from station 1 to station 5.
Travelling to Boracay will take some time, about 5-7 hours from Iloilo City to Caticlan, Aklan. From Caticlan port you will be riding on a ferry boat for about 10-15mins ride to Boracay Island. But the long travelling time will be all worth it. Upon arrival to Boracay Island mini port itself you will be amazed with the crystal clear beach water where in you can see the live fishes swimming around. From the port you will ride into a tricycle for 5mins to reach Boracay’s white sand beaches where in there are lots of hotels to choose from. The hotels come from luxurious five stars hotel to simple and cheap ones. All commodities are available anywhere, they have banks, convenient stores, mall like D’mall, lots of restaurants to choose from.
Beaches in Boracay are the most wonderful beaches I have ever seen. Wonderful scenery all around that your eyes can’t take off. White sand all around and it amazingly maintains a temperature which is not irritating to the feet. The beach water is crystal clear and very inviting for a swim. People around are very friendly and the place is so peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The sea breeze is so cool that gives peace within. At night time, there are lots of activities in the beach coast, beach party, buffet dinner of sea foods which are affordable, fire dance and plus you can enjoy night swimming with the beach water which is not as cold as compared to other beaches at night.
Boracay, in my eyes is undeniably a place I can really call a paradise. . .
